Finally got to the day when I can wave the stick rather than sit writing emails and calling players on the phone. Can’t wait for these amazing Skaparis cats to crank it up at the Harry Potter Convention at Chethams’s Stoller Hall in Manchester this weekend!
I was so proud to have seen the RNCM Session Orchestra string section completely going for it on Saturday night in the RNCM Opera Theatre.
They were absolutely on fire and it was an absolute joy to work with them for a week rehearsing.
Many thanks to Andy Stott for inviting me to coach again and also for letting me conduct ‘Titanium’ by David Guetta in rehearsal – what an experience!
I’m so privileged to have had the opportunity to coach the Royal Northern College of Music Session Orchestra strings over the past few days.
I’m so happy that they put in a massive effort at the rehearsal at the RNCM Opera Theatre tonight – it’s going to be an astounding performance on Saturday with some of the best singers I’ve ever heard performing live!
Here rehearsing with members of the Skaparis and the Classical Uproar team at the RNCM – we’re getting very excited about the show on April 28th!
Hello everyone, it’s been a while since I’ve posted – the reason being that there have been an incredible amount of things happening behind the scenes at SR Music and the Skaparis Collective.
The Skaparis Orchestra’s UK Tour has been postponed due to some very exciting developments in December 2017 and it’s now the focus of all my energy and attention towards what may be a much bigger tour in November of this year.
This isn’t the only development, and I will have some great news soon in relation to my collaboration with the Producer and Film Score composer Simon Withenshaw, who is currently working for TT Games, a subsidiary of Warner Brothers.
Plans are also being laid for more collaborations with the amazing violinist Miriam Davis, Film maker and Producer Carl Whitely and I’m starting to work at the Royal Northern College of Music with the RNCM Session Orchestra.
News will be coming in thick and fast, so I’ll be updating you all as quick as my fingers will keep up!
